A marshal of the Federal Road Safety Commission has been confirmed dead after he was allegedly pushed into a river at Ososa, Ogun State on the Sagamu-Ore Expressway on Sunday.
The marshal and some of his colleagues on patrol had responded to a call from the scene of crash involving a tanker, luxury bus and eight other vehicles when the incident occurred around 7.45a.m.
An FRSC report on the crash said the luxury bus belonging to Young Shall Grow Motors was returning to Lagos from the South-East when its driver violated speed rules, resulting in the multiple crash.
The FRSC said 60 persons were involved in the crash, out of which 15 were injured.
