Kid golfers Assemble at Ikeja Club Jan 2nd 2013, 01:47 More than 60 kid golfers have been drawn to tee-off at the first Ikeja Golf Club kid golf championship which comes up on Wednesday. Lady captain of the club, Ruth Oluwatusin, said the event would be one of the many activities that the lady section of the club would stage in 2013 in its bid to encourage the sport among the young ones. She said, "The future of the game lies in the younger ones and this is one of the best times to get them together; before the holiday is over. "We have discovered that there are talented players among the kids like Goergia Oboh and Tokunboh, who have displayed exceptional skill in the game. What they need is exposure to express themselves and that is what we are giving to them during the holidays," she said.
