Ghana winger Andre Ayew has said that the Black Stars will win the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The four-time champions flattered to deceive at the last edition in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea 2012 where they finished fourth.
Ghana have a tough Group comprising DR Congo, Mali and Niger at the tournament in South Africa.
Kwesi Appiah's side will begin preparations in Abu Dhabi on January 5 where they will play Egypt and Tunisia in warm-up matches.
Ayew, who is on the verge of recapturing his verve after a slow start to the season in the French Ligue 1, believes Ghana will win their fifth title.
"Please, I'm not here to talk about the Nations Cup. I can talk about it when the time is right," the Olympique Marseille ace said in Douala where he joined Samuel Eto'o for a book launch.
"But, know that we will win this CAN in South Africa." Ayew has made 18 appearances for Marseille and scored five times.
