At the valet counter, when revelers tried to exchange their parking cards for the car keys, another reader identified the tagged RFID cards and potential drunk drivers were asked to either use a taxi or the nightclub’s drive home system. During a two-week period, over 573 drunk drivers were detected, out of which 342 opted to leave their cars at the club and have somebody else take them home. The pee analyzer proved to be a promising solution to drunk driving and is now in the process of being rolled out nationwide.
