Hull City boss Steve Bruce is confident that Sone Aluko will light up the Premier League this season if he stays fit.
Aluko injured his Achilles tendon in mid-November which cut short his impressive showing and ruled him out for the rest of last season.
But Bruce is confident in the potential of the Nigerian, and the value he can add to the Tigers’ team this season.
“We have to be careful, he’s been out since last Christmas,” Bruce noted.
“The big thing for him is can he stay fit after being out for so long.
“If he does I think he’ll light up the Premier League, people will enjoy watching him, and he’s one of those players.
“I really hope he can stay injury free,” Bruce said.
