Chairman of Channels Television John Momoh has agreed to chair the second edition of the Nigeria sports media award slated for the Sheraton Hotels in Lagos on December 7.
The Chief Executive Officer of Hally Sports, organisers of the event, Godwin Spiff-Sagbamah said, “We are excited that one of Nigeria’s top broadcasters has graciously agreed to chair the event. He, alongside other prominent Nigerians, has agreed to be part of this year’s event. We believe with their support, this edition will be very successful.”
Meanwhile, entries have continued to pour in for the award designed to celebrate outstanding media practitioners and corporate bodies that have made immense contributions to sports development in the country.
As a result of the interest the award is generating, nominations for the several media categories of the 2013 Sportz Businezz and Media Awards are still open till September 25th.
